Need Statement
Current Programmes
To develop a holistic and sustainable sport for development programme for girls and boys in residential childcare facilities which educates them on risks they are exposed to and provides them with tools to sculpture their independent future by 2010.
To engage over 5000 girls and boys from residential childcare facilities in developmental soccer league programmes, life-skills through sport programmes and youth leadership programmes on a weekly basis in four Southern African cities by 2013.
To become a leading organisation in the sport for development sector in Southern Africa, integrated in relevant networks and developing effective programmes and evaluation tools through sharing resources and building of partnerships with like minded organisations. Read More...

The AMANDLA model for holistic and educational soccer programmes for the orphans and children who grow up separated from their families includes developmental soccer leagues, life-skill programmes and youth leadership programmes with the aim to help childcare facilities develop socially aware, self-confident, self disciplined and motivated young people who are leaders and role models to other youth and within their communities.

Mission Statement
The mission of AMANDLA EduFootball (AMANDLA) is the advancement of education by the provision of sports structures, training and facilities for children and young people in disadvantaged communities in Africa, targeting specifically youth who are no longer in the care of their family.
